My tractor has 49 hp. I was trying to decide between a 6' which weighs 800# or a 7' which weighs 1025#. I will be cutting pasture land mostly with the occasional 1-2" shrub

If the tractor is equipped with a hydrostatic transmission, always operate at the 540 PTO rpm line or slightly above when driving. Then at the 540 mark when running a load on the PTO.

It probably will not look as good on the tractor as the Kubota loader will, mostly because kubota makes loaders for only kubota so they tend to fit & look better. I'm not sure about the paint on the new Bush Hog loaders but the paint on the older loaders faded and got chaulkey before I thought it should have.

The loader has will not move until you run it up to 1500 RPM and to lift much of anything heavy you have to run it up to almost 3000 RPM before it will respond with any strength.
